Dr. Gambrell shares her insights into Anthroposophic Medicine, which explains how childhood development and milestones are often achieved after children experience certain illnesses. She goes on to discuss how parents can have the confidence to support their children through fevers and other illnesses, the future of medicine, and the potential for integrating energy medicine into allopathic practices.
Debra Gambrell, D.O. graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Kansas City School of Biosciences in 2003. Dr. Gambrell is triple-board certified completing a residency in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University in 2007, a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles in 2009, and an Integrative Medicine program through AIHM in 2015. She also completed a Pediatric Biodynamic Osteopathic training and a five-year training in Anthroposophic Medicine.
Over her career, Dr. Gambrell has worked in both pediatric and adult hospital settings as well working in clinics she has run and/or managed dealing with complex medical issues in children.
Currently she is working at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, California, as a pediatric anesthesiologist.
She lives with her children in southeast Idaho where she spends time on her biodynamic farm.
