Homeopathy first arrived in the early 1800’s, and by the mid-19th century, homeopathy had established a significant presence, particularly in cities like New York and Philadelphia. Dr. Constantine Hering, often referred to as the "Father of American Homeopathy," founded the American Institute for Homeopathy in 1844. He advocated for the recognition and acceptance of homeopathy within the medical community. By 1900, there were more than 100 homeopathic hospitals, solidifying homeopathy’s status as a legitimate medical practice in the US.
