In this podcast, Cilla interviews Lishui Springford, a German New Medicine (GNM) practitioner from Canada. In this follow up podcast, Cilla describes her experiences with Lishui's strategies, especially how she is able to get to the "central disturbance" that lies in the subconscious during a consult. Lishui shares her strategy, which is based on Steven Kent's work from the Mind Shifting academy. Cilla compares this strategy with a homeopathic intake, where the homeopath unbiasedly observes their client while taking their case. Both agree that when a client feels heard, that alone can allow healing to take place.
This interview takes us deeply into the healing process that GNM offers, and also shares some of the obstacles practitioners face. Lishui shares a particular obstacle, identity conflict, which expresses in the client exhibiting a victim mentality in which they wish to be rescued. As Lishui explains, "I can't take GNM to somebody who is in a victim state."
Lishui goes on to explain the existential terror that people face with diagnosis. She and Cilla extrapolate on the process of emerging from this state of being a victim of disease to seeing it as part of the healing process, as defined by GNM.
Cilla asks Lishui how GNM accounts for children, babies and infants who haven't had biological shocks, yet they have a serious diagnosis. Lishui goes on to talk about her son who was born with Down Syndrome as well as a hole in his heart, and explains the biological shock that contributed to his condition. As Lishui states, "We begin being receptive to experiences, biologically sensing our world the moment we have cranial nerves...But it is the individual who has the cranial nerves that judges whether [the biological shock] is a threat or not."
You're going to find this conversation both fascinating and potentially healing, as Lishui shares stories of how GNM works, and how GNM goes beyond the fallacies of conventional medicine.
